We specialise in small, personalised tours that allow you to enjoy both the country and sporting event you are there to attend. We work closely with the official organisers of each event, where possible under licensing and/or sponsorship agreements, ensuring you the maximum protection, choice and value for money when selecting your sporting holiday.

RUGBY
Whether it be a 6 Nations weekend watching England in Paris, Dublin or Rome, or a full tour following the Lions or England to the Southern Hemisphere, we have the experience to put together your perfect trip. Either join one of our escorted tours or create your own itinerary.

CRICKET
All our cricket tours following England or taking in the World Cup are escorted and range from a quick 7 night holiday based around a single Test to a full month long tour. This allows you to jump in and out over the dates and matches that suit you.

GOLF
Our golf breaks differ from our other sports holidays as you travel to play on some of the most beautiful courses in Spain, Portugal, USUA, Dubai and South Africa. As you will see from our golf pages you can base yourself at one or more hotels and then add as many rounds of golf as you like during your stay. SPANISH FOOTBALL
We have featured weekend breaks to Barcelona and Real Madrid for the last 5 seasons. Each includes 2 nights in a named city centre hotel plus match ticket.

FORMULA 1
We concentrate on offering long weekends to the most popular Grand Prix's - Spanish, Monaco, British, Italian and Belgian. Our best seller is the British allowing those who live a fair way from Silverstone to spend the weekend at a four star hotel and be transferred to and from the Grand Prix.

PRIX DE L'ARC
We started our Prix de l'Arc weekend in response to an email request and it has grown over the years to become one of our best sellers.

USA SPORTS
Our newest addition is US Sports Breaks allowing you to combine a long weekend in your favourite city with a basketball, baseball or football match.

FINANCIAL SECURITY
Under EEC legislation all travel companies have to make arrangements to give financial security for pre-payments made by their clients. TOFC guarantees our standards of trading and provide you with the necessary financial security.

AIR TRAVEL ORGANISER¹S LICENCE (ATOL5493)
We operate holidays including travel arrangements by air under an air travel organisers licence issued to The Sporting Traveller Ltd by the Civil Aviation Authority. TOTAL PAYMENT PROTECTION (TOPP) POLICY COVER
In compliance with the UK Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel & General Insurance Company plc to protect customers’ prepayments paid in respect of the ground handling aspects of packages where the customer is responsible for arranging travel to the destination, offered in this brochure/literature/document/on this website (subject to the terms of the insurance policy), for a refund of such prepayments if customers have not yet travelled, or making arrangements to enable the holiday to continue if customers have already travelled in the unlikely event of our financial failure.
